Whether you're looking for full-time care or added training support, each stay is designed around your home, your routine, and your dog's needs.
Care in the comfort of home
I travel to your home and stay there with your pet while you're away, providing full-time care, companionship, and consistency in their everyday environment.
This option is ideal for maintaining your pet's normal routine with minimal disruption.
Care with added structure and support
This option includes everything from in-home pet sitting, with the addition of training woven into daily life. From manners and leash skills to calm behavior and routines, I work with your dog in real-life scenarios throughout the stay.
· Every stay is different ·
Every stay is tailored to your home and your pets. If you have multiple animals, we can combine care and training as needed (for example, one dog may receive training while another simply receives care.
I am most experienced with dogs and cats, but I am open to caring for other animals depending on your needs.
⌒ MY PROCESS ⌒
I travel to your city to begin the stay.
I get to know you, your home, your dog's routine, and any important details.
I learn the little things that help your dog feel safe, settled, and cared for.
Your dog stays comfortable in their own space while I provide consistent care.
I care for your pet and work on training goals in real-life daily moments.
Before the stay ends, we review what I worked on and how to continue it.
Then I'm off to the next home, the next pup, and the next adventure.
The Approach
Every dog is a little different, and so is every home. While there are core principles that guide training, what really makes it work is understanding your dog in their own environment. By living in your home during the stay, I'm able to observe daily patterns, work through real-life moments, and adjust the approach in a way that feels natural and effective for your dog.
Training isn't about quick fixes. It's about creating habits that feel consistent and easy to maintain. During the stay, I focus on building structure in a way that supports lasting change over time.
Because your dog stays in their home environment, we're able to work through behaviors exactly where they happen. This helps training carry over more naturally into everyday life.
Before the stay ends, we'll walk through everything together so you feel confident continuing the work at home. The goal is not just progress during the stay, but something that feels realistic and sustainable beyond it.
I use positive reinforcement-based methods to create clear expectations and support reliable, lasting behavior.
About
I've always had a natural pull toward animals, and over the past nine years, that has grown into a career in dog training where I have worked with a wide range of dogs and supported many families along the way. I also studied at Bergen University, where I earned an associate's degree in canine education, which gave me a strong foundation in behavior and learning.
Alongside my in-home work, I also train remotely with Baxter and Bella, which allows me to live a more flexible, travel-based lifestyle. I spend much of my time moving between different places, and that rhythm has naturally shaped the way I work with clients and their dogs.
Rather than taking dogs out of their environment, I come to them. Staying in your home allows me to understand your dog in a much more real way, how they move through their day, what triggers certain behaviors, and where small adjustments can make the biggest difference.
I tend to approach dogs with a calm, patient energy, giving them space to process and build trust rather than rushing the interaction. Over time, I have found that this creates more meaningful, lasting progress.
I also really value the human side of this work. Some of my favorite moments come from getting to know the families I work with, whether that is arriving a day early to connect or simply building relationships that extend beyond the stay. I care deeply about creating a positive, respectful experience not just for your dog, but for your home as well.
At the end of the day, I love what I do because it allows me to combine connection, travel, and meaningful work, helping people better understand their dogs and creating a more easeful daily life together.

Courtney worked with our two Basset Hounds and they absolutely adore her! (So do we!) She is not only an expert trainer, she is calm, patient and persistent when teaching her students (including the human ones!) We've had Courtney in our home for in-person training, as well as, virtual sessions and both are equally effective. We love Courtney and highly recommend her services!
